I have been learning how to repeat patterns using different shapes and colours. I used plasticine to make some beads to thread on to a necklace as part of our Artworks Inquiry this term.
Yesterday i made a fruit kebab. I Used kiwifruit and a mandarin and a
banana and marshmallow .And my colour marshmallow is pink and white
I have two kebabs.
Today I drew a cat. It was so cute. It is pink and red and purple and black.
I did a triangle and a circle. And her name is Lexi.
Last week on Friday it was cross country. Team 2 has to bring their house colours. Shirt. my colour is hokulea my mum was Cheering when I finish
The race?
Whaea Kiri asked tamariki from Rm 24 to draw a picture of a marae (meeting house) using chalk on the blackboard inside Te Whare Ako for Maori language week. We learnt that you take your shoes off before you enter and there is no food allowed inside.
On Thursday was team 2s fun day. My favourite activity was the Mr Whippy
van and drawing and bouncy Castle and Tee ball.
Finally next Time I want to have a big bouncy castle.
Last week room 27 recorded dance moves and they look so good. I saw Faith and Gene and they were twins.
My favourite move and song was patterns and move your hands around
Room 27 where doing it on PENN.
And that was the end.
On Friday 26th August we were allowed to wear a wig or have a wacky hairstyle in raising an awareness of Child Cancer.
Some children were chosen to go up on stage at assembly and the audience chose their favourite three and I was picked as a finalist!
We raised some money for children who need medical treatment or time at Starship hospital…do you like my wig?
